Caliagua was awarded the bid for the construction of a combined pumping station and sewage lifting station for Forestar Group. Our scope of work on this project included:

• Site preparation and earthwork: Excavation, grading, and backfilling for foundations, wet wells, and utilities; installation and removal of slide rail shoring and trench safety systems; and construction of concrete pads, footings, and containment structures.
• Structural and Building Construction: Booster station building with concrete masonry walls, slab-on-grade foundation, structural rebar, split-face block exterior, complete roofing and architectural finishes, as well as site concrete paving, curbs, bollards, and perimeter masonry walls.
• Mechanical Systems: Installation of vertical turbine booster pumps, submersible sewage lift pumps, hydropneumatic pressure vessels, air compressors, and all associated piping, valves, fittings, and corrosion-resistant coatings for water, sewer, and storm drain systems.
• Electrical and Instrumentation: Construction of electrical equipment pads and power distribution systems, installation of emergency backup generators with automatic transfer switches, and integration of instrumentation including ultrasonic transducers, flow meters, level sensors, and radio controllers with antennae.
• Connections and Commissioning: Completion of tie-ins to existing water, sewer, and storm drain infrastructure; startup, hydrostatic testing, disinfection, and system flushing; and preparation of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and final turnover documentation.
