Project Details

Caliagua constructed the City of Chino Hills Tract 16596 Sewage Lift Station to provide reliable wastewater service for a new housing development. The project included excavation and shoring, construction of reinforced concrete structures, and installation of wet wells, valve vaults, and appurtenances. Work encompassed furnishing and installing submersible non-clog sewage pumps, piping systems, protective coatings, and odor control equipment, along with electrical and instrumentation systems to support station operation. Caliagua also furnished and installed a standby generator system, complete with conduits, switchgear, and control integration. Startup, testing, and commissioning of all equipment and systems were performed in accordance with contract requirements. The completed facility delivered a fully operational sewage lift station designed to serve the growing community with long-term reliability

Specifically, Caliagua:

  • Performed excavation, shoring, and construction of reinforced concrete wet wells and structures
  • Installed submersible non-clog sewage pumps, guide rails, lift cables, and discharge piping
  • Furnished and installed generator system, electrical conduits, wiring, switchgear, and controls
  • Applied protective coatings to structures and appurtenances for wastewater service
  • Installed odor control carbon canister system, including pad, piping, supports, and field testing
  • Conducted factory and field testing, startup, and commissioning of pumps, generator, and odor control systems
  • Submitted shop drawings, O&M manuals, and provided training and spare parts for City staff

 

The Tract 16596 Sewage Lift Station project provided the infrastructure necessary to support new housing development in the City of Chino Hills. By constructing a modern lift station equipped with reliable submersible pumps, standby power, and odor control systems, the project safeguarded public health while ensuring uninterrupted wastewater service. The improvements reduced the risk of sewer backups and system failures, enhanced environmental protection, and supported compliance with regulatory standards. Ultimately, the facility enabled residential growth in the area while delivering dependable, long-term wastewater management for the community.
