Scope of Work
The PWD Well 36 Equipping project consisted of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and services necessary to equip a new 600-horsepower municipal well. Work included civil and site improvements such as excavation, compaction, grading, paving, and fencing, as well as construction of the well building and foundation. The project installed a deep well vertical turbine pump and motor, above- and below-ground valves and piping, and building plumbing and drainage systems. Additional scope covered installation of a 30-foot SCADA antenna, HVAC systems, electrical and instrumentation, and startup testing with training. The contractor also prepared operation and maintenance manuals to support long-term facility performance.
Community Benefit
This project provides new infrastructure to accommodate projected population growth, and ensure potable water supply can meet annual water demand over the next 25 years.
